Sharon first became involved in the fashion industry in 1971, after a brief stint in accounting, before throwing herself into the rag trade she also worked in hospitality for 5 years.

After returning from “the” European trip in 1977 she worked for several national wholesale menswear labels in Sydney until 1983, including the Advance Australia range, product development and sales.

1984 saw her join Ragtrader (the leading industry newspaper founded by Fraser McEwing) where she was thrown into the world of forecasting and Pantone® when their Fashion & Home division was launched globally.

In 1991 she founded Fashion Forecast Services, from which time she travelled seasonally visiting key international cities and trade fairs, gaining exclusive representation for leading forecast studios based in Europe, UK and USA.  Including sole distribution of the Pantone® Fashion & Home product range.

2008 saw her rebrand her Pantone business under the Colour Intelligence banner and continued representing key international trend services and offering reports across many industries reflecting commercial and retail understanding to the Australian market as Fashion Forecast Services.

Over the years Sharon has been instrumental in bringing many internationally re-known speakers to Australia for a number of trade fairs and forums, including L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, Designex, Fashion Exposed and Decor & Design and more recently the inaugural Fashion Snoops Global Trend Immersion held in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.

Today she has pared back her business, having retired in 2019 after almost 30 years of representing the Pantone Fashion & Home division, and now solely represents Fashion Snoops,  Trend Bible and Luminary Colour allowing her to offer these highly recognised and respected international agencies.
