  As Pantone enters it’s 20th year of marketing colour specification tools to the fashion and home industries, it is with great pleasure that we announce a brand new Cotton System that is simply “SMART”.

  Since colour is one of the most important elements in product development today, making sure it’s right is critical to the success of any product line.  We have spent the last two years making certain that every change and addition we have made to the components of the System are consistent with the requirements of an increasingly demanding marketplace.

  Our mission was to create a collection of tools along with a key dyestuff partner that would eliminate any barriers between design and manufacturing.  We now have the appropriate solutions to satisfy both functions of the colour development process.

  Setting up seasonal colour palettes has never been easier.  Individual unbacked loose fabric swatches available for all 1,925 colours provide a precise way to select, specify, control and communicate your colour choices.  Double folded fabric measures 10x10cm.  Unfolded swatch measures 10x20cm giving vendors twice the amount of fabric for optimum colour visualisation and instrumental evaluation.  Each card is identified with four PANTONE Colour name and number strips so that a swatch can be cut when being used for design or merchandising tools.
